Over the past two weeks, there have been no significant catastrophe events expected to materially impact ILS investors.
The National Hurricane Center continues to monitor several areas of potential storm development across the Atlantic and Pacific basins. However, given the late stage of the season, any storms that develop are expected to remain relatively weak, with limited potential for significant wind-related losses. The primary risks are likely to arise from heavy rainfall and associated flooding, while some systems may remain offshore.
As always, Twelve Securis continues to closely monitor any catastrophe events and will issue specific updates on any relevant new major events which occur.
