A lawyer by training, Jonathan has considerable experience as a non-executive director within the investment management and wealth industry.

He is the Senior Independent Director and Chair of Remuneration at Aberdeen. He is also is a non-executive director of CiCap Limited and its regulated subsidiary Coller Capital Limited. He is a non-executive director of B-Flexion Group Holdings SA and subsidiaries including Capital Four Holding A/S. At the end of 2020 he stepped down as Deputy Chair of 3i Group plc after nearly 10 years as a board member. Previously, he has served as Chair of Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Citibank International Limited, Dexion Capital plc and AXA Investment Managers. He has also been a director of Tilney, Ashmore Group plc and AXA UK plc.

In his executive career Jonathan worked at Morgan Grenfell for 18 years, rising from a background in project finance, derivatives and Treasury to become group finance director of Morgan Grenfell Group, before going on to take the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. From 2002 to 2008 he was a director of Schroders plc, during which time he was Chief Financial Officer and later Executive Vice Chairman.

As CEO of Twelve Securis he is the key driver of the firm’s vision and strategy, operational excellence, and stakeholder trust, all while navigating complex financial and regulatory landscapes.

Urs Ramseier is a co-founder of Twelve Capital and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2010, serving as Executive Chairman since 2020. He has held key leadership positions within the company, including Chief Investment Officer and CEO. With a career spanning nearly three decades, he has held senior roles in investment management, credit risk, and equity analysis across global financial institutions. His prior experience includes serving as Head of ILS at Horizon21, a series of progressively senior roles at Credit Suisse, where he ultimately managed Credit Suisse Asset Management’s investments in European insurance stocks, and Lombard Odier & Cie, where he specialised in credit risk, equity analysis, and portfolio management for the insurance and real estate sectors.

Urs holds a PhD in Economic Geography from the University of Bern and completed studies at the Institut de Sciences Politiques in Paris.

As President of Twelve Securis, Christoph provides strategic direction and oversight of investment activities and business operations. With extensive industry experience, he ensures consistency of execution of strategy throughout the organisation and alignment between investment strategies, risk management and compliance, and business growth while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Christoph is a co-founder of Twelve Capital and was the group’s Vice-Chairman and General Counsel.

He brings significant experience in structuring and executing transactions integrating (re)insurance and capital markets solutions, financing arrangements, corporate governance, as well as in managing fund structures, reinsurance entities and run-off activities. His prior experience includes establishing the ILS legal structuring function at Horizon21, an alternative investment manager in Switzerland, and he held various positions with Zurich Financial Services in Zurich, London and Luxembourg.

Christoph is a recognised leader in the industry. He holds a PhD and a Master of Law from the University of Zurich as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has received multiple awards for his academic achievements and research contributions to business law. Additionally, he is a non-executive Board Member of Ikano Re, a reinsurer controlled by the Kamprad family.

Ranjani Kearsley has over 25 years’ experience in portfolio oversight, strategy, human capital and sustainability roles across asset management, private equity and principal investing.

She joined B-FLEXION (formerly Waypoint Capital) in 2021 and is Head of Asset Management within the Group Investments Office. Previously, she was the Head of People and Platform for Eight Roads (a PE Venture and Principal Investing platform focused on Technology and Healthcare investments) and Global Head of HR for Fidelity International.

Ranjani began her career as an Analyst at Citi having studied Economics and Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a Board Director of several regulated asset management and healthcare companies and a Trustee Director of various charitable foundations.

Judy Klugman has been at the forefront of the Insurance-Linked Securities (“ILS”) market since its inception in the 1990s. For over two decades she was instrumental in the growth of the ILS asset class as a leading proponent of the catastrophe bond market. In 2013 she was awarded the outstanding contributor of the year award at the Trading Risk Awards Ceremony. She worked at Swiss Re Capital Markets (Swiss Re’s broker dealer subsidiary) for over 24 years and at the time of her retirement in June 2023 was its Global Head of ILS Distribution and Sales. Prior to her involvement in the ILS sector she worked in Morgan Stanley’s private placement group. Judy has an MBA from New York University and a BA from Lafayette College.
